What Causes Hair Loss?

What is Micro-needling?
Micro-needling is a therapeutic mechanical device that can be stamped over the individual’s scalp. Tiny needles penetrate the top layers of the scalp causing microtrauma which stimulates blood flow to the follicles as well as stimulating a repair response that encourages hair growth mechanisms in the desired hair follicles.
What is HaiRx Serum?
It is a proprietary blend of topical prescription medications to induce hair growth mixed with growth factors and vitamins to help promote new hair growth as well as restore thinning hair to a thicker consistency.
What is the Procedure Like?
Clients will have a topical numbing cream applied to the desired area for approximately 10 - 15 minutes prior to the procedure. Before the procedure begins, the area is cleansed and the numbing cream is removed. Your provider will perform the micro-needling portion of the procedure first to help create small tiny channels that stimulate a repair response as well as provide a passage for our HaiRx serum. After the micro-needling portion of the procedure is complete, the provider will then apply a high concentration of a patented growth factor blend- 93.6% Tissue Nutrient Solution (TNS®) with over 380 growth factors and cytokines and vitamins to the scalp. No sedation is required or given during the procedure. Post-treatment restrictions are minimal and are limited to at-home care.
Aftercare: You will leave Newtown MediSpa with our proprietary topical HaiRx serum to apply daily as well as a month supply of Viviscal Professional Vitamins.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
We recommend that you start with a series of 3 treatments spaced out approximately 6-8 weeks apart. RestorHAIRation should not be considered a “cure." After your treatment, you may need to continue maintenance therapies quarterly or bi-annually.
RestorHAIRation should also not be considered a guarantee as it is based on individual effectiveness.
Am I a Candidate for RestorHAIRation?
Both men and women who are concerned with loss or thinning hair and who want to consider an alternative treatment that is aggressive but non-surgical. With RestorHAIRation, there is little to no downtime.
Can I Continue to use Other Medical Therapies With RestorHAIRation?
Absolutely! We also recommend continuing FDA approved products such as DHT blockers as previously. Think of it as cross fit training and you are using multiple modalities to get the desired results.
