OTHER ARRIVAL PROCEDURES & OFFICE CHANGES

All patients are pre-screened prior to scheduling their appointment and upon arrival at both of our offices. Taking your temperature as well as a screening process will take place immediately when entering the office.

We have implemented a Wait In Car process at both offices to minimize exposure and provide the safest possible experience for patients and staff. Please text us upon your arrival and wait until your provider contacts you to come in. Please leave your personal belongings in your car, and limit to your wallet, keys, and cell phone. No outside food or beverages allowed.

Your provider will meet you at the front door and sanitize your hands. Your temperature will be scanned and a series of screening questions will be asked. It is at the discretion of the provider to determine if you are healthy for treatment. You will be given a mask to wear at all times while in the office.

Our treatment rooms are thoroughly and meticulously disinfected before and after each client. All touchpoints including door handles, counters, pens, ipads, and any other surfaces are cleaned throughout each day.

Our check-out process has temporarily changed. After your treatment, you will remain in the treatment room until our patient coordinator brings you to the front desk for a one-on-one check-out. We have installed a plexiglass divider for extra protection.

We ask that you please stay home if you have had any illness or fever in the last 14 days or have been around anyone that has had an illness or fever in the last 14 days. The Complete federal Centers for Disease Control guidance on COVID-19 is online.

Newtown MediSpa is following the CDC’s recommendations for preventing the spread of COVID-19. In addition to wiping down all door handles, surfaces, restrooms, chairs, beds, tables, and common areas throughout the day our staff will also be required to wash their hands well and use hand sanitizer to follow the best practices to protect the health and well being of themselves, their families, and the patients we serve.

All staff members will be wearing masks throughout the entirety of your medical treatment. We will have a reduced number of staff in the practice to comply with allowing 10 people in our building at a time and will practice safe social distancing when present. Each employee will have to complete a series of screening questions as well as have their temperature taken prior to starting each work shift.

In addition to these steps, we are monitoring the latest updates and recommendations from the CDC and will be doing our part to stop the spread of this virus while maintaining a relaxing service in a beautiful atmosphere. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
